Our Mission

is to increase the availability and affordability of housing in Kootenai County, Idaho, by facilitating home sharing arrangements.

Each year the Idaho Community Foundation organizes a state wide effort to showcase and rally support to local nonprofit, and there are a variety of prizes that bring us more funding to support our work of making affordable, safe matches in the community. Join our efforts and support us through this link. We also invite you to join us at our Idaho Gives celebration on May 8th from 5PM-8PM at Jungle Relic in downtown CDA.

I HEART CDA: A Talk Series (Young Professionals)

Join us at the historic Roosevelt for an intimate gathering that brings these conversations to life. Enjoy thoughtfully catered fare from local organizations and engaging, artful talks from civic leaders, historians, nonprofit partners preserving our historic spaces, and community voices shaping our future. At this month’s talk we will have Shane Solorza and a panel of of young professionals of what draws them to the area, how they view our growth and opptimism for the future local com.

With over 60 successful Home Share Programs in the US, we follow best practices through the National Home Share Resource Center.

Background Checks

Fulfilled on all applicants to ensure safe and secure matches.

Dedicated Match Making

Our staff does in depth social work to understand preferences, values , and ensure match compatibility.

Ongoing Support

Our trained staff is present from the initial meeting, trail match period, to post match follow ups.
